Steps to exclude files/folder from your cpanel backup

Here you can find 2 ways to exclude files/folder from cpanel backup

• Global exclude files: You can use this option to exclude files/folder for all users hosted on server from backup and for that you have to enter your file/directory name in /etc/cpbackup-exclude.conf file.

• Local exclude file: you can use this option to exclude files/folders from backup for particular user hosted on server, you have to add your file/folder name in /home/username/cpbackup-exclude.conf file.
