Gzip compression improves the speed of your website and save bandwidth. If your website has large page size then this plugin will works for you in best manner. Let’s see how to enable it.
- Login to Joomla admin panel.
- Click on “System” and then click on “Global configuration”.
- Now you can see various tabs like Site, System, Permissions, Server and Text Filters. Select “Server” tab and then update all the settings.
- Under “Server” tab you have to click on “Gzip Page Compression”. You have to make it “Yes”, so don’t confuse for it.
- Click on “Save” button to save the changes of page.
