Most of the time this happens due to permission issue, we can easily resolve this with below steps:

To resolve this issue you can run below script:

/scripts/mail per username
Sometimes email account shows negative size for few cpanel users, you can resolve this by using below script:

/scripts/generate_maildirsize -confirm cPanelusername
